Bookr is a Web 2.0 writing tool. This is a very neat tool to use to create books with pictures. You type in the text and then search for a picture to go with your text and you create a book. This can be used by both teachers and students. Teachers can create a book to introduce a new topic and reinforce skills that they are learning. Students can create books as a project and present them to the class. According to Bean, Readence, and Baldwin (2011), when students have opportunities to finish a multimedia production they have an actual record of their efforts.
